Protein microarrays are used to identify protein-protein interactions, to identify the substrates of protein kinases, or to identify the targets of biologically active small molecules. The most common protein microarray is the antibody microarray, where antibodies are spotted onto the protein chip and are used as capture molecules to detect proteins from cell lysate solutions.

Sigma-Aldrich Panorama® Antibody Arrays

Panorama Antibody Microarray kits are designed for studying protein expression in cell or tissue extracts. The Panorama Antibody Microarray kits encompass the areas of cell signaling proteins, kinases and phosphatases of the MAPK and PKC pathways, chromatin remodeling and gene expression, including transcription factors, histone modifying enzymes, and various P53 pathways. With market-leading content, the Panorama Antibody Array - XPRESS Profiler725 provides a high-throughput tool for multiplex expression profiling of the most important proteome-related activities.

The LAGA has extensive experience with protein microarrays. Please contact us for advice on which platform best suits your research needs and how to get the most from your analysis.
